The restoration of the original mansion began in July of 2001 and included the preservation of the antique hand-painted wall murals made especially for the Crane family. All of the ornate, gold leaf moldings have been restored to original quality. The twelve marble fireplaces have been re-pointed and polished to highlight their beauty. And the wonderful, twelve foot wide center mahogany staircase has been completely refinished.

The expansion of the main mansion includes a two-story fifteen thousand square foot addition, which was completed in 2002. The architects took painstaking care to replicate the lines of the mansion. The myriad detail work included matching the roof lines and brick styles and duplicating the details of the windows and lentils.
